Creality vs Flashforge: K1C, K2 Plus and Adventurer 5M
Summary
Compare the Flashforge Adventurer 5M, Creality K1C and K2 Plus by build volume, enclosure, supported filament and multicolor requirements. The Adventurer 5M and K1C have smaller build volumes than the 350 mm cube K2 Plus, which also needs more desk space. Ender is a product family, so compare an exact model rather than treating it as one printer.
Start with your material and largest part
- Compare the exact filament and nozzle combination, not only the maximum temperature. The filament-support section below distinguishes the Adventurer 5M from the enclosed Creality models.
- Check printer dimensions as well as build volume. The K2 Plus needs space for the machine and, for multicolor use, its CFS configuration.
- Compare equivalent packages. A K2 Plus Combo includes one CFS; the 16-color configuration described below requires additional units.

Filament support
Flashforge sets up the Adventurer 5M for PLA and PETG on the 0.4 mm nozzle, and TPU, PLA-CF, and PETG-CF on the 0.6 or 0.8 mm nozzle. ABS-series filaments aren't compatible.
Creality lists ABS, ASA, PC, PA, PLA-CF, PA-CF, and PET-CF as supported on the K1C. The K2 Plus adds materials such as PPA-CF, and Creality recommends a 60 °C chamber for ABS, ASA, and PPS.
K2 Plus colors and power
One CFS unit on the K2 Plus holds four spools, and you can chain up to four for 16 colors. The Combo includes just one, so reaching 16 colors means buying three more. The printer is rated at 1200W.
Which Ender
The September 23, 2026 product-list check recorded the Ender-3 V3 SE, Ender-3 V3 KE, Ender-3 V4, Ender-5 Max, and Ender-3 V3 Plus. The Ender-3 V4 listing described a 220 × 220 × 235 mm build volume, a 300 °C nozzle, up to 500 mm/s, and 16-color capability with up to four separately sold CFS units. Check the current model and bundle before buying.
