Fiber Laser Brands Compared: Monport, ComMarker, Gweike and Cloudray

Published · Updated · By the Laser Lineup editors

Summary

Compare Monport, ComMarker, Gweike and Cloudray on three things before price: standard fiber or MOPA, a complete engraver or a laser-source component, and the marking field. A low component price is not the price of a ready-to-use engraving machine. The model and price examples below are a dated comparison, not live offers.

The lineup and price examples in this article were recorded on September 23, 2026. The Monport lineup at that check had eight machines, six MOPA and two Q-switched (standard fiber). These counts, prices and bundle contents are historical snapshots; confirm the current selected variant with the seller.

Standard fiber or MOPA

ComMarker sells its B6 as two separate products, a standard fiber version and a MOPA version built on a JPT source. The MOPA listing mentions color marking on metal and 3D engraving. At 30W, the standard B6 is $1,999 and the MOPA is $3,099.

A laser source is only part of a machine

Cloudray's JPT M7 is the MOPA fiber laser source by itself. It doesn't include the galvo head, lens, lift axis, controller, enclosure, or software a working engraver needs. The 60W source alone is $4,499. Cloudray's own complete 60W MOPA machine (MP Series Neo) is $5,999, and ComMarker's complete B6 JPT MOPA 60W is $3,999.

Marking field and software

Gweike's G2 is a 20W fiber machine offered with a 110 × 110 mm or 150 × 150 mm field, rated up to 15,000 mm/s. On Gweike's U.S. store, the 110 mm lens set with manual lift was $1,299 and the 150 mm lens set with electric lift was $1,349, both sale prices against a $2,499 list price. The page's own summary text mentions a 200 × 200 mm area, which doesn't match its spec table.

Monport offers both LightBurn and EZCad in its download center. Gweike's G2 works with its own software and with LightBurn. ComMarker also offers standard B6 bundles that include LightBurn Pro.
