WeCreat Makes Vista, Vision, and Lumos Lasers. Which One Is Right for You?

Published · By the Laser Lineup editors

Summary

WeCreat's lineup falls into three groups: enclosed desktop diode machines for wood and acrylic (Vista, Vision, Vision Pro), compact dual-laser machines you can also use handheld (Lumos, Lumos Flex), and the Lumos Ultra with UV and MOPA sources. For wood and leather, pick among the Vista, Vision, and Vision Pro by power (10W, 20W, or 45W) and the size of what you make. For metal or event work, look at the Lumos models, and for UV or MOPA processing, the Lumos Ultra.

Three enclosed diode machines

All three are enclosed and sold as FDA Class 1 lasers. Prices below are the lowest bundles in WeCreat's U.S. store on September 23, 2026, during a sale.

The Vista ($590) is the 10W entry model. WeCreat bills it as the smallest enclosed laser that can engrave a 40 oz tumbler, and its diode can be swapped for an optional 2W infrared module.

The Vision ($1,040) runs a 20W diode and cuts basswood up to 10 mm in one pass. Its laser head lifts automatically to handle objects up to 140 mm tall, and the front-to-back pass-through takes material up to 126.9" long and 14.9" wide.

The Vision Pro ($1,910) uses a 45W diode that WeCreat says delivers cutting power close to a 60W diode, thanks to its own beam-focusing design. The work area is 19.7" × 12.6", and an optional conveyor stretches it to 137" long. It has LiDAR autofocus and is sold with the AirGuard Ultra fume extractor.

The Lumos family

The Lumos ($940) pairs a 10W diode with a 3W infrared laser and weighs 2.3 kg in handheld mode.

The Lumos Flex ($1,940) pairs a 15W diode with a 15W fiber laser and runs at up to 10,000 mm/s. WeCreat rates it for cutting stainless steel up to 0.3 mm and brass up to 0.5 mm, plus 15 mm wood and 12 mm acrylic with the diode. Its handheld weight is 2.8 kg in the product listing and about 3 kg on the feature page. Handheld, both Lumos models run without an enclosure, and the Lumos Flex's 1064 nm fiber beam is invisible, so safety glasses rated for the wavelengths in use are needed for the operator and anyone standing close.

The Lumos Ultra carries a 6W UV laser and runs at up to 16,000 mm/s. It was on pre-order for mid-October shipping at $3,699 with UV only, $6,290 with a 60W MOPA added, and $7,490 with a 100W MOPA.

Software

WeCreat's own software, MakeIt, runs on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. It can create custom jigs to hold multiple pieces in the same position, import data to generate many personalized pieces in one go, and nest designs to use material efficiently.

LightBurn configuration files are published for the Vision, Vision Pro, Vista, Lumos, and Lumos Flex. As of September 23, 2026, the software page did not list one for the Lumos Ultra.
